The Bridge @ Heritage Creekside is open - C B JENI Homes & Cambridge to begin single-family


PLANO, TEXAS – Jan. 26, 2017 – Rosewood Property Company, developer of Heritage Creekside, its 156-acre mixed use development near the intersection of US 75 (Central Expressway) and 190 (President George Bush Turnpike), announced that the 327 unit The Bridge @ Heritage Creekside apartment project, which is being completed by Carbon Thompson, has opened. In addition, Plano-based Green Brick Partners, Inc. has completed the necessary infrastructure to permit C.B. JENI Homes to begin construction of 105 single-family townhouses on the west side of Pittman Creek which bisects the 46-acre eastern portion of the project. Also, a total of 41 single-family homes along Pittman Creek will be offered by Cambridge Homes, a Plano-based builder.


“The entire 46-acres comprising Phase I of Heritage Creekside is under development and the progress is demonstrable,” stated Bill Flaherty, President of Rosewood Property Company. “In addition to the opening of The Bridge @ Heritage Creekside multi-family and the start of the single-family homes, the creek restoration
project has begun and the bow truss pedestrian/bike bridge is currently being manufactured and will be installed by mid-2017.”
Rosewood recently announced that it has signed leases with two notable restaurants, Flying Fish and Rodeo Goat Ice-House, which are operated by Shannon Wynne’s group.


“It has been especially gratifying to receive great support on this transformational project from the important homeowner associations representing the adjoining neighborhoods of Dallas North Estates, Pitman Creek Estates and Pitman Creek North as well as the City of Plano along with the opportunity to work with two fine partners on Phase I; Carbon Thompson and Green Brick Partners,” continued Flaherty.

Last summer, Green Brick Partners, Inc. (NASDAQ: GRBK) acquired 17.3 acres in Heritage Creekside to develop approximately 150 home sites. Green Brick Partners owns a controlling interest in four homebuilding companies in the Dallas area -- Normandy Homes, CB JENI Homes, Centre Living Homes and Southgate Homes. The company currently controls approximately 4,000 prime home sites and is building in Plano, Allen, Carrollton, Flower Mound, and Frisco, as well as in other DFW markets and the Atlanta, Georgia market, where its Providence Group is a leading homebuilder.


When completed, Heritage Creekside will include up to 1,300 multi-family apartment units, several hundred single-family townhouses and homes, retail and a corporate office campus with up to 2.5 million square feet of office space. The property, which has been owned by the Hunt family for more than 50 years, has remained largely undeveloped.
