Legacy

Rosewood hotels and resorts

Rosewood Hotels & Resorts was carefully built over a 35-year period into a brand recognized and admired worldwide. The business was sold in an off-market transaction to Hong Kong-based New World Hospitality in 2011 and continues to operate worldwide under The Rosewood Hotels & Resorts flag.

Uptown, Dallas

Rosewood had the vision to transform an important but under-utilized area of Dallas and spent years assembling 10.5 acres that became The Crescent, a 1.6M square foot mixed-use development that is now the financial hub of North Texas. After selling the Crescent, Rosewood developed the strategically located Rosewood Court building, which is the headquarters for the Rosewood Corporation. Rosewood’s initial vision set the course for Dallas’ Uptown submarket, which has become one of the most vibrant walkable urban centers in America.

Collin County Land

The Hunt family has owned a prominent section of land in Collin County for more than 50 years. Through the efforts of Rosewood, this land has been developed into the very successful Heritage Creekside mixed-use development as well as the Collin Creek mall redevelopment including the ancillary retail property surrounding the mall.
