The local favorite will return to the community with its signature American Diner cuisine
Crossroads Diner Sticky Buns
Plano, Texas – (May 20, 2024) – Rosewood Property Company’s Heritage Creekside in Plano will welcome Crossroads Diner, a DFW classic, to its dining roster. Slated to open this fall, Crossroads Diner offers a full menu of southern comfort for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
“Crossroads Diner is a local Dallas favorite, and we are ecstatic Tom Fleming and his team chose to bring their beloved fare to Heritage Creekside,” said Rick Perdue, President of Rosewood Property Company. “We focus on bringing a curated mix of tenants, and this makes Heritage Creekside a great place to live, work and visit. Crossroads Diner perfectly fits this standard.”
Crossroads Diner is known for its breakfast and lunch items such as sticky buns, chicken and waffles, biscuits, grits and corn beef hash. Alternative menu items include breakfast schnitzel, tostadas and frittata with chorizo. Guests can enjoy dinner Wednesday through Saturday from 4-8 p.m. and breakfast and lunch will be served Tuesday through Sunday. The restaurant offers a full bar with natural juices for bellinis and mimosas.
“We scoured DFW for the right space to launch the Crossroads Diner comeback, and as a vibrant neighborhood with restaurants, office and multifamily located near various highways and thoroughfares, Heritage Creekside was exactly what we needed,” said Fleming, Crossroads Diner owner/chef. “This is a new phase in the life of Crossroads Diner, and I can’t wait to provide breakfast, lunch and dinner in Plano and the surrounding area.”
The diner will be 3,300 square feet with an outdoor patio that can host up to 50 customers. Michael Walters with Falcon Realty Advisors served as broker for Crossroads, and Michael Kaplan with Venture Capital was Rosewood Property’s broker. Crossroads Diner is Heritage Creekside’s latest restaurant and retail addition, joining Taco Joint, Flying Fish, Rodeo Goat, and Pax & Beneficia Coffee.
Heritage Creekside is a 156-acre, mixed-use development near the intersection of Central Expressway and President George Bush Turnpike. A focus on walkability enables residents in the surrounding single-family homes, townhomes and apartment communities to easily access these restaurant and retail options, as well as the restored creek bed of Pittman Creek. The restoration of existing creeks and tributaries intertwines nature with the community at Heritage Creekside.
