The local favorite Tex-Mex restaurant expands to new territory beyond Dallas

Plano, Texas (June 2, 2021) – The Dallas local favorite, Taco Joint, is breaching the traditional city borders for the first time to join the diverse dining options at Plano’s Heritage Creekside in Fall 2021.

Plano and surrounding residents will soon be able to enjoy Taco Joint’s authentic and vibrant Tex-Mex flavors closer to home. Vast menu options combined with the unique atmosphere will quickly make Taco Joint a community favorite among Heritage Creekside visitors.

“Heritage Creekside takes pride in the many restaurant and retail experiences we offer,” said Rick Perdue, President of Rosewood Property Company. “Adding Taco Joint to the restaurant lineup provides a new type of cuisine for our nearby residents to discover and enjoy, continuing our quest to be a premier dining destination in Plano.”

Taco Joint’s large patio, creative murals and unique flavors will make it the perfect place to escape to this fall. Guests can enjoy daily deals on weekdays, including happy hour specials from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday – Friday, and order the restaurant’s famous breakfast tacos all day, every day. To spice things up even more, Taco Joint’s famous Jalapeno Ranch is perfect to enjoy smothered on tacos, drizzled on burritos or salads and simply on chips.

“We are so excited to expand Taco Joint’s presence across DFW, and Heritage Creekside is the perfect area to develop outside of Dallas,” said Corey McCauley, Taco Joint partner. “Taco Joint is a wonderful addition to Heritage Creekside’s restaurant offerings. This is a great opportunity to be part of this dynamic place to live, work and play, as well as bring our unique flavor to the thriving Plano community.”

Taco Joint, which has four other locations throughout Dallas, will open at Heritage Creekside this fall with mouthwatering dishes ready to try. Grab some 18 or 64 oz. margaritas to-go served frozen or on the rocks at any time. When the weekend ends, the Monday Hangover Plate, comprised of eggs, sausage, beans, potatoes, queso and veggies, serves as the perfect remedy to start your week off right. Or, celebrate Friday’s arrival with Spicy Grilled Shrimp Tacos, two grilled shrimp tacos tossed in homemade Tapatio aioli.

Taco Joint is the latest edition to Heritage Creekside’s restaurant and retail roster of Flying Fish, Rodeo Goat and Orangetheory Fitness. Residents in the surrounding single-family homes, townhomes and apartment communities can easily access these restaurant and retail options, as well as the restored creek bed of Pittman Creek. The restoration of existing creeks and tributaries intertwine nature with the community at Heritage Creekside.

Ryan Smith & Michael Mendelsohn with Venture Commercial are the broker representatives on the project.
